io4 in France and Europe
Microsoft IT services in Lyon, across France and Europe
Our French office is in Lyon, in the Part-Dieu district. That is our anchor, not our reach: our Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity and AI engagements cover all of France and the rest of Europe, with data hosted in France.
io4 Technologies is a Microsoft Solutions Partner with an office in Lyon, at 12 Rue de la Part-Dieu, 69003 Lyon. The French subsidiary, registered with the Lyon commercial court, extends a practice built since 2018 across more than 500 Microsoft projects: Microsoft 365, Azure, managed cybersecurity, Power Platform and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Lyon is our base, not the limit of where we work. Running a Microsoft environment is done remotely, so we support organizations across France — Île-de-France, the Sud region, Grand Est, the West, Hauts-de-France — and across the rest of Europe, travelling for the phases that warrant it: scoping workshops, steering committees, training, on-site work.
That reach comes from the nature of the expertise rather than from a network of branch offices. A Microsoft architect, a Defender specialist or a Purview expert works on the same platforms whether they sit in Lyon, Lille or Brussels; what matters is the depth of the team you can call on and the response time on an incident — around 8 minutes on average for our managed SOC.
Our work covers cloud as much as the on-premises environments still in place — Active Directory, Exchange, on-prem SharePoint — and the hybrid architectures that connect the two. European clients' data is hosted in the Microsoft Azure France region by default.

Yes, across France and the rest of Europe. Lyon is our administrative anchor, not our commercial territory: running a Microsoft environment is done remotely, and we travel for scoping workshops, steering committees and on-site work.
Rarely, because administering Microsoft 365 and Azure happens remotely anyway. What matters more is the depth of the team you can call on — architect, security, Azure, Copilot, data — and the response time on an incident: around 8 minutes on average for our managed SOC.
In the Microsoft Azure France region by default, for data at rest. That is the choice for European clients, including when the group also has Canadian entities. The detail per service — Microsoft 365, Azure, backups, security logs — is documented at the start of the engagement.
Both. io4's compliance practice was built on Québec's Law 25, whose requirements substantially overlap the GDPR: a designated officer, impact assessments, an incident register, controls on transfers. For European clients, the framework applied is the GDPR and CNIL guidance.
Yes, and it is the main reason the French subsidiary exists. The same team covers both jurisdictions — GDPR on one side, Québec's Law 25 on the other — under a single coherent Microsoft architecture, instead of two vendors who never talk to each other.
Yes. Part of the European activity is Microsoft technical subcontracting for integrators and IT services firms: architecture, tenant migration, hardening, remediation. The contract covers confidentiality and no direct approach to your clients.
